Simple dash switch to turn off the courtesy lights when the doors are off.

My Wrangler only has an under dash courtesy light on the driver side. If you have more than the one, you must trace back the wires to the upside (fuse side) of them all. The should be only one connection to all the lights.

I also have an overhead speaker/sound bar with lights. This is wired directly into the hot wire of the under dash light.

Cut the hot wire (after you disconnect the battery of course) and place a switch inline. A simple Radio Shack SPST switch will do. Get a fancier one if you want. I already had a few of these so…
