Happy New Year!

What a slow week… at work anyway…

It’s New Year’s Eve and we sit at home where it’s safe (safer) than out there in the strange world of partiers. That’s OK with me. Hanging out with the family is good. I’m sure I’ll even skip the “ball-drop”. It just doesn’t interest me any more.

Services4u.net is up and running. Google Analytics and Google Webtools are in place and doing their job.  Now I need to find time soon to get with the owner to do some computer hardware and software upgrades at their office.

The newly designed Camp Bethel website launches tonight at midnight (+/-) using the new Camp Logo. The site’s been ready to go for several weeks awaiting final approval on the logo, but we don’t want to rush a new logo just to get it on the website. The logo is still being scrutinized and possibly could change, but Jeff and I agree that we can change it later if necessary. We’ll start a new year with a new website.

I got a new blog up and running last night. My Ebay Experience is going to be my extended ebay feedback blog. Sometimes I wanna say more than what will fit in the 80 characters allowed by Ebay, so, here it is in purchases and sales categories. Listing item title from the ad, item number and seller ID. I may decide to add photos, but unless I download and host them, they will disappear from Ebay after 60 days or so.

I finally got more info on this website. I also manipulated the code by trial and error and lots of googleing to get the top menu to be in the order I want and to exclude certain pages from the list.

This  theme is different in most as it uses “list_all_pages” instead of the more often seen “wp_list_pages”.

I have also included a listing of most of the videos I’ve produced in the last couple years. Not alot of quality in the camera work, but end results are decent. It’s 99% recorded with a Panasonic camcorder on mini-DV.

I used broadcast quality JVC’s on the KASA videos and it shows.

another Christmas gone by…

Since this blogging page is new, I’ll add another entry today. Let’s see how long this lasts. misspellings and all…

It was a good week. We got to hang out at my big bro’s house Sunday after a great meal by he and his wife. Elaine was outa town visiting her sister she hardly ever get’s to see while Justin worked & Jordan was out town with his mom and stepdad’s family.

We had yet another meal and exchanged some gifts Christmas Eve at mom’s house. Everyone made it this time, even Sarah! It was great to see her too. She’s working at Walmart also these days and we hardly get to see her either.

It was a great day. Time spent doing nothing much but hanging with family. oh, and thank you God for the wonderful gift of love you gave us!!

Justin was here today and it’s a treat to get to spend time with him anymore. He stays busy with work, school and Sarah. Not necessarily in that order. We had Gabe’s choice of birthday breakfast/lunch together and J & J had to move on to their next stop to spend some time with more family.

The only gift I wasn’t happy with was the gaming system I bought Gabe for his birthday. Yeah, he and Jesus share a birthday!, How special is THAT! Not the same year of course, but none-the-less. And yes, I understand that Jesus wasn’t really born on the 25th of December, or was He? That’s a complete other blog entry saved for another time…

Anyway, it didn’t seem to bother Gabe, but I was upset about it. He had this neat gaming system he had been wanting for quite sometime and all he could do was to look at it because a piece was missing.

We were able to borrow the piece (controller battery pack) from his friend long enough to discover that only one of the three games I had purchased actually worked. At least the system works and I don’t have to send it back!

We’ll go out tomorrow sometime and brave the crowds to exchange the games and maybe spend some B-day money to get a couple others.

Elaine and I hung out together in the office returning emails and watching TV together. Actually she watched her show on the TV and I finished a movie I started on Hulu.com.

This is going on forever and I wouldn’t be surprised or care if anyone ever read this entry. But it’s new, so I play…

to blog or not to blog…

that really isn’t the question.

I likely won’t be doing much “blogging” here.  I will leave it in a blog format because it is easily updated and read by others.  This site is mainly for information purposes for those who are interested in my services.  For over 10 years, it has been my ministry to help others make their presence on the web.

You may find new entries here once in a while, and I may find time to “blog” for often than I expect, but don’t expect this to get too deep!…
